General information and scope

RESED (Revista de la Sociedad Española del Dolor) is the official scientific publication of the Spanish Pain Society (Sociedad Española del Dolor, SED). It is a multidisciplinary journal addressed to health professionals, researchers and managers involved in the comprehensive management of pain.

Scope. RESED publishes work on the concept, aetiopathogenesis, epidemiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis and pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment (interventional and non-interventional) of pain, as well as on related psychological, social and ethical aspects. Its focus is mainly clinical and epidemiological, and it is also open to translational and basic research where relevant.

Readership. The journal is addressed to specialists and health sciences professionals working in the field of pain: pain units, anaesthesiology and critical care, primary care, neurosciences, rehabilitation, nursing, physiotherapy, and related medical and surgical specialties.
