• No cost to authors: no article processing charges (APCs) or manuscript submission fees are applied.
• No cost to readers: all content is freely and immediately accessible.

The journal is funded entirely by the Spanish Pain Society (Sociedad Española del Dolor, SED).

Licence. All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC 4.0). This allows sharing, remixing and transforming the material with attribution, without commercial use.

Articles with commercial funding. In the exceptional case that an article with commercial funding is published, this will be transparently stated in the conflicts of interest and funding section of the article itself.
