Abstract
The present work proposes a change in the paradigms with a double purpose. First, to approach the medical profession from a bioethical perspective and, secondly, to take into account these bioethical implications in the treatment of chronic pain. The backbone of the next pages will be, in this sense, to defend the need for an interdisciplinary dialogue between medicine, philosophy and ethics. And is that bioethics has been a valuable renewal of traditional medical ethics since it begins to question the scientific advances in medicine. Bioethics began, thus, to provide behavioral principles to all areas of action where the human being needed guidelines and acceptable conditions for the attainment of his own life.Downloads
