About the Journal

RESED (Revista de la Sociedad Española del Dolor — Journal of the Spanish Pain Society) is the official scientific dissemination organ of the Spanish Pain Society (Sociedad Española del Dolor, SED). It is a multidisciplinary journal aimed at healthcare professionals, researchers and managers involved in the comprehensive management of pain.

Thematic scope. RESED publishes works on the concept, aetiopathogenesis, epidemiology, clinical aspects, diagnosis and pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment (interventional and non-interventional) of pain, as well as on related psychological, social and ethical aspects. Its focus is primarily clinical and epidemiological, also open to translational and basic research when relevant.

Audience. The journal is aimed at specialists and health science professionals involved in pain: pain units, anaesthesiology and resuscitation, primary care, neurosciences, rehabilitation, nursing, physiotherapy and related medical and surgical specialities.
